The Canadian Trade Commissioner Service (TCS) provides clients with practical foreign market advice and on-the-ground information to help them make smarter, more timely and more cost-effective decisions to achieve their overseas objectives.

The TCS promotes Canada's economic interests in global markets, by engaging in a range of activities, such as developing a network of business contacts, identifying and communicating business leads, linking Canadian businesses to global value chains or facilitating R&D collaboration and technology transfer.

In Türkiye, the TCS has a team of 7 officers based at the Consulate General of Canada to Istanbul and the Embassy of Canada to Türkiye in Ankara.
